Pickup Information
Local Pickup Guide — Bologna
Bologna's historic centre is largely pedestrianised with a ZTL operative 7:00–20:00. Our NCC-licensed drivers can access all hotels inside the ZTL zone legally. For Bologna Marconi Airport (BLQ) arrivals, the transfer to the city centre takes approximately 20 minutes — your driver meets you in the main arrivals hall. For train passengers arriving at Bologna Centrale station, your driver will meet you at the main taxi rank outside the station's central exit. The city's famous 38km of covered porticoes (portici) are unique to Bologna — most of the historic centre is navigable under cover even in rain. For Modena-bound guests (Ferrari Museum), confirm your preferred museum entrance time so we can plan departure accordingly from your Bologna hotel.

Local Tips for Bologna
Bologna is arguably Italy's finest food city — the birthplace of ragù alla bolognese, mortadella, tortellini, and tagliatelle. The Quadrilatero market district (surrounding Mercato di Mezzo) is best explored on foot between 08:00 and 13:00. The Salumeria Simoni on Via Drapperie is the most famous deli for cured meats. For day trips, Modena and Parma are equidistant (45 minutes each) and form a perfect Emilia-Romagna gastronomic triangle. The Ferrari Museum in Modena and the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese are popular combines — we can do both in a single day trip. Bologna's university district (university founded 1088, the world's oldest) comes alive in the evenings with student nightlife in the cobblestone streets.
